Shipping Policies

The following information applies to all orders:

All orders are shipped via UPS.

A street address is required for delivery, No Po Boxes.

Merchandise will be delivered standard ground transportation, which takes 2-3 business days within Texas. You may request express delivery for an additional charge. Processing time for in stock items is same day if orders are received by 2pm CST Monday through Friday. Processing orders during back-to school rush will take longer.  See on-line textbook ordering page for details.  Delivery times do not include processing time.

Orders received after 2 p.m. CST on Friday may not be processed until the following Monday.

Your order will be charged to your credit card at the time it is shipped from the warehouse. The bookstore accepts Visa, MasterCard and American Express cards only.

International Orders
For orders shipped outside the United States, actual charges will be billed separately to your payment method. Tariffs and duty fees are the responsibility of the customer placing the order and are not included in the shipping charges.

Backorders
Items not available at the time the order is processed will be backordered* and shipped at a later date. You will not be charged for the backordered item until it is in stock. Shipping charges for backordered items will be adjusted accordingly. You may cancel a backordered item by logging into your account or by contacting John White at 512-245-9226 or jw36@txstate.edu.

 *We reserve the right to cancel backordered items based on product availability.

Special Delivery Items
For special delivery orders you should receive a phone call or email from customer service. If you have any questions, please call 1-877-884-3338. Tariffs and duty fees are the responsibility of the customer placing the order and are not included in the shipping charges.

NOTE
Some products may require special handling due to size, weight, and insured value, which may result in a higher shipping charge than originally quoted. These additional charges will be reflected at checkout.

 

SHIPPING RATES

 

The following rates (rates are subject to change) apply to your order.

           Merchandise: A flat rate of $9.00 for all orders, except for Diploma

           frames which has a flat rate of $16.00 per frame shipped.                      

          

           Textbooks: Rates are based on weight.

These charges are for items shipped and billed to continental 48 states only. Please contact the bookstore for shipping charges to Alaska and Hawaii.


*Pickup At Store: Please allow 24 hours for order processing. For weekends and holidays, please allow 48 hours after the next business day.  (See textbook reservation policies for processing informtion.)


For identification purposes only, please bring a form of ID (student ID, driver's licence or passport) when picking up your order. Merchandise orders (see textbook information site for textbook pickup policies) are held for 5 business days only, so please call if you need extra time. After 5 business days, merchandise is returned to the warehouse and your account credited for merchandise plus applicable sales tax.

 

Merchandise Return

We trust you will be satisfied with your purchase. However, should you decide the merchandise is not satisfactory, please refer to our Refund policies.  For textbook refunds, the request to return must be made before the textbook refund deadline. The merchandise may be shipped back to us, or returned to the bookstore. Please leave all merchandise tags attached. Also note that if you choose to ship the merchandise back, you will be responsible for the postage. No refunds are given on shipping and handling charges. Personalized items cannot be returned.  To return general merchandise, please request return from Monica DeLeon at 512-245-1386 or md30@txstate.edu
